I love this place .. they are so good with kidsPosted on Google Jennifer PerezTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Amazing place to take your kids! I’ve worked in the dentistry field for over 16 years, so I really pay attention to how a team functions—and the dentist/assistant dynamic here is superb. I believe my assistant’s name was Esmi—she was amazing! She worked so well with the doctor and my child, and it was clear she knew exactly what she was doing. The entire process was very smooth. They even showed me an AI system they use, which I had never seen before—it was impressive and really added to the experience. The team was informative, professional, and made us feel comfortable every step of the way. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!Posted on Google T.K. It’s been two years now and she loves going to the dentist and was so proud to receive her “Cavity Free” award today at her cleaning! Staff as kind as always during check in and didn’t have a long wait either. She even wants to arrive early to play video games first ha! Wish my adult dentist office I go to was this fun and friendly! First time visit and my little one went from being scared to excited to come back! Thank you Dr. Pettinato and your amazing team. I love the fact that she will always have a pain free experience should the need arise. Definitely felt like a VIP experience and I’m so thankful we found you!Posted on Google Amanda WilliamsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Update: April 2026. We still come here and they are wonderful. Iryna was so kind and gentle with my kids they really loved coming today. Finally a dentist that kids enjoy!! Also: all of the bad reviews are truly comical. They are great. Period Previous review : Dr Pettinato is VERY thorough at explaining everything to parents and incredibly sensitive with children. Jaiton was so great with both of my kids (almost 6 and almost 2). My youngest was over it and didn’t want to wait her turn after her brother and was a screaming mess but both Dr P and Jaiton were very sweet with her. It was her first time at the dentist and she had a very pleasant experience in the dental chair. I was impressed how easy they made it for both of my kids but especially my toddler. The waiting room was very busy and hot but the front desk staff and everyone we came in contact with was very nice, helpful and quick.Posted on Google Carina PavenkoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very nice and patient. The entire staff knows how to talk to children which makes it very helpful. I would recommend when your child is ready for a dentist appointment to visit this one!Posted on Google Dana SpiveyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I feel there is truly not enough words to describe what kind of a miracle and blessing it is to have a dentist like Dr. Pettinato providing dental care for my children. My daughter has braces and needed dental work done and she had these white spots that looked like mineral deposits and discoloration and Dr. Pettinato worked a miracle in her mouth! He made her teeth that needed a lot of work done look good as new and even the discoloration was gone! He also did such beautiful dental work on my son and it was a stress-free experience! I will always be thankful to God for such a dentist that is a master at his work and who TRULY cares for his patients!!! There are not enough good things to say about Dr. Pettinato. I'm just humbled and thankful to have such a dentist for my 4 children! If anyone is looking for the best dentist for their child, you'll find him at cool kid dental!😎 Gods blessings to Dr. Pettinato and his family.Posted on Google Sylvia TorresTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My first time there with my 13 year old son. Extremely friendly staff, very organized, timely appointment. Clean office and rooms. My son was there for a regular check up and cleaning. Cleaning was great and very informative to our son. X-rays were a bit different than I have seen but a cool machine and pretty quick. The doctor was super friendly and nice. Great bedside manner and awesome with my son, my son was impressed and very comfortable, he said “mom you found a great dentist!” Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend this dentist. They gained patient for sure and we look forward to coming back. Thank youLoad more
Questions parents ask before booking
Can a knocked-out tooth be saved?
Yes. but time is critical. A knocked-out permanent tooth has the best chance of being saved if reinserted within 30 to 60 minutes. Pick it up by the crown, rinse with milk or saliva (not water), and either reinsert or store in cold milk while heading to the dentist. Knocked-out baby teeth are not re-implanted, but you should still call us to check the area.
Should I take my child to the ER or the dentist?
For tooth pain, knocked-out teeth, broken teeth, or dental abscesses a pediatric dentist is faster and more effective. Go to the ER only if your child has difficulty breathing, uncontrolled bleeding, possible jaw fracture, loss of consciousness, or swelling spreading toward the eye, neck, or throat.
Do you offer same-day pediatric dental emergencies?
Yes. Cool Kid Dental holds same-day emergency slots open every weekday, and most pediatric dental emergencies are seen within 2 hours. We also have a weekend on-call line for urgent situations.
My child has facial swelling is that serious?
Yes. Facial swelling in children can indicate a dental infection that may spread quickly. Call (941) 841-1010 immediately. Apply a cold compress while you wait, and watch for fever, difficulty swallowing, or swelling spreading toward the eye or neck — if any occur, go to the ER while still calling us.
Don't wait. We're ready when you are.
